At the Digital Creative Arts Centre (DCAC) in London, Ontario,
our co-op placements give students the chance to turn
classroom learning into real-world creative experience.

Choose Your Path: Four Co-op Streams to Build Creative Skills

Photoshop & Illustrator

Students dive into the world of graphic design and digital illustration, learning how to create professional-quality visuals for print, web, and social media. This placement develops essential design skills while building a portfolio of creative projects.

Computer Coding & Gaming

This placement introduces students to programming and game development, combining creativity with technical problem-solving. Students learn the fundamentals of coding, explore gaming platforms, and develop projects that showcase both logic and design.

Videography & Photography

Students gain hands-on experience with professional cameras, editing software, and production techniques. From capturing live events to editing short films, this placement helps students tell compelling stories through video and photography.

Audio Recording & Engineering

This placement focuses on the art and science of sound. Students work in a studio environment to record, edit, and mix audio for music, podcasts, or film. By learning industry-standard tools, they develop skills for careers in media and audio production.
